Talk about a lot of fun packed into a long weekend! This was such a fun weekend to spend, for a variety of reasons
Day 1 | Saturday, November 05
We spent all day traveling Saturday, and headed to the hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf to check-in before dinner at Scoma’s; believe me, we were hungry! The restaurant was within walking distance of our hotel too. You don’t realize what affect the time zones make on you.
Day 2 | Sunday, November 06
We booked a Wine Tour through Extranomical Tours company (operated by Grayling), which picked us up at 08:30 in Fisherman’s Wharf. The tour included transportation to/from wine country, starting off at 2 wineries in Sonoma, a stop in Sonoma Plaza for lunch, followed by the last winery in Napa. All 3 wineries were incredible, their scenery and wine reflected their style.

The wine tastings were arranged at:
- B.R. Cohn Winery & Olive Oil Company (Sonoma Valley)
- Muscardini Cellars (Sonoma Valley)
- Madonna Estate Winery (Napa Valley)
On the way home, our guide surprised us by stopping at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge, which was incredible under the moonlight. We ended the day with dinner at McCormick and Kuleto’s (formerly McCormick & Schmick’s). The outfit I wore today consisted of jeans, tennis shoes, a sweater, and my Mackintosh Coat from L.L. Bean.
Day 3 | Monday, November 07
Another early day for us, starting off with a half day city tour. Dylan’s Tours picked us up at Fisherman’s Wharf Park (across from Ghirardelli Square), and drove us around several highlights of the city, including driving through Little Italy (got to see where a famous baseball player once attended church in Washington Square), while stopping to see the Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge (in daylight this time!), and then spending about an hour hiking through Muri Woods before lunch in Sausalito, CA

The weather wound up being incredibly goreous, which is why I’m glad I wore leggings, tennis shoes, and an Oversized Leopard Sweater Dress (yes, I still brought my coat with me too!).
Once we were dropped off at the Piers, we explored all the shops, including a quick stop for the Sea Lions, before proceeding onto The Buena Vista for an Irish Coffee. We then headed up to walk through Little Italy (very hard decisions with all the bakeries and pastries available), before making our way to dinner at Fog Harbor Fish House, which was probably the best dinner we had the trip. And of course, you can’t visit San Francisco without heading to get dessert in Ghirardelli Square!

Day 4 | Tuesday, November 08
Sadly, this was our day to leave (and unfortunately, not much to report other than heading to the Airport). I wound up wearing the ‘Loving My Life’ Pocket Tunic in Mocha Brown (the most comfortable dress up/down top ever), with jeans, and an infinity scarf. This top has probably become one of my all time favorites from the Mint Julep Boutique. Until next time San Francisco!
