A combination of Disney AND Hilton Head Island? What’s not to love??? Okay, so I will admit I’m biased on this. If you’ve ever been to Walt Disney World, you know they do things right. Like all Disney Resorts, this one has the classic charm of the low country immersed as a 1940’s fishing lodge.

Reasons to Choose Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort
Location

Located in the center of the island at 22 Harbourside Lane, Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is the perfectly tucked away from everything else yet still making it close to everything. Disney’s HHI Resort is nestled along Broad Creek in the Harborside Marina, making it perfect for a stroll around the shops and Marina. It’s also a short drive to Shelter Cove (or bike ride!).
Amenities

Hilton Head Island is a classic sea island, a low country town with gorgeous beaches. Despite it being considered a beach resort, the amenities this Resort offers is more than just beach access. From a den/lounge area (including a pool table!) to its Community Center (it is part of the Disney Vacation Club after all), the Resort has DVD players in all units including free Disney DVD rentals, a fitness center, grills, two quick service locations (Signals Seaside Grill and Tide Me Over), a general store (Broad Creek Mercantile shop), pools, laundry services (most units have a full washer/dryer), a pier, a playground, and free Wi-Fi.
Activities

In true Disney fashion, there’s no shortage of activities at this Resort. Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort offers bicycle rentals, various small courts (think putting, Bocci ball, horse shoes), a campfire and s’mores, and an entire Recreation department offering movie nights, trivia, and various craft activities!

Beach House

With this property on Broad Creek River, there’s unfortunately no direct beach access from the Resort itself. They are creative enough to have its own Beach House located on the Atlantic Ocean, with shuttle service to and from the Resort. This House is beautifully done, containing its own pool, quick service restaurant, bar, and other activities; all which have hours that are subject to change. They do have plenty of parking spaces whether you want to drive or bike over and do offer a shuttle service from entrance of the Resort (near Live Oak Lodge) to the entrance of the Beach House.
Stay at Disney’s Hilton Head Island
Like all things Disney, they know how to do things well. From the incredible service to the charming decor of the lowcountry, this place is a hidden gem outside of Disney’s Theme Parks. What’s not to love about having an authentic Mickey Bar outside of the Theme Parks?
